Loop Launches New Global Ad Campaign Aimed At Moments When Life Gets Too Loud

Loop has launched a new test-and-learn global ad campaign aimed at raising awareness of its stylish, noise-filtering earplugs.

“For When Life Gets Loud”, created by Loop’s in-house team and produced by Untold Fable, features two humorous 30-second commercials that shine a light on those moments in life when tuning out the noise makes all the difference.

Rather than a traditional roll-out, Loop is taking an agile approach – testing different creative executions in-market to see what resonates most. By running multiple spots side by side, the brand is putting its fast, experiment-driven mindset into action, ensuring the campaign connects emotionally while gathering valuable insights.

“Third Date” follows a young man whose dad invites his girlfriend over for dinner – but when the evening moves upstairs, the son quickly finds himself in desperate need of earplugs. The second spot, titled “The Newlyweds”, follows a couple whose dream new home soon turns into a nightmare when they realise they are surrounded by noisy neighbours, including a rock band, construction workers and Trevor, a young man enthusiastically giving trombone lessons.

The new campaign, launching globally on September 17, will run for the next five months across various digital channels, including YouTube and Amazon Prime, with a particular focus on the US market.

Rob Weston, VP of Marketing, Loop, said: "Our creative team had so much fun dreaming up these stories, and Untold Fable and GoshDamn brought them to life brilliantly. Their direction and production added a fresh layer of humor and personality that really shines on screen. It was a true collaboration, and the end result shows how Loop can help people find calm, and a little bit of sanity, when life inevitably gets too loud."

Untold Fable, which connects brands to a global network of over 8,000 filmmakers across 100+ countries, worked with directing duo GoshDamn on the campaign. Both spots were filmed in London.

Kate Tancred, CEO and founder of Untold Fable, said: "We loved working with Loop on this campaign, which shows how the right technology can turn everyday chaos into moments of calm. We’re incredibly proud of these spots – they’re sharp, funny and full of character.

“Working hand-in-hand with Loop’s brilliant creative team and directors GoshDamn – whose sharp comedy instincts and distinctive visual style elevated the work – we were able to bring the concepts to life, including securing ‘American-feel’ locations at the Hamptons Estate in Worcester Park and a North London house in just two-and-a-half weeks.”

Directing duo GoshDamn added: “We loved both scripts from the beginning, there was so much scope in them for exploring the looks and glances that really cement the comedy and awkwardness. The whole process was truly a creative collaboration.

“While we knew the bones of what needed to be done on set, it was brilliant to have the freedom and the trust among the team to play around with all these ideas in the moment. I'm sure somewhere down the line they will have to release an outtakes reel with all the hilarious and awkward other moments we captured."

The ads follow the Belgian DTC lifestyle company’s first brand campaign, launched globally in October 2023.  For more information on tech-powered production company Untold Fable and its suite of services, email hello@untoldfable.com
