Fidelity
"Life’s A Stage"
Using Motion Control Technology And Creative Set Designs To Elevate Storytelling
BACKGROUND + STRATEGY
Fidelity International wanted to reposition long-term investing as a meaningful journey rather than a purely financial decision. The campaign needed to humanise investment, appealing to audiences by showing its impact over a lifetime, while also instilling confidence in customers by positioning Fidelity as a trusted partner with deep expertise, a long-term investment outlook and unwavering support. We collaborated with AnalogFolk to create a cinematic, story-driven campaign centred on the emotional milestones in a couple’s life. The idea was to reflect the evolving nature of investment by mirroring the changing stages of life, using a continuous camera movement and innovative production techniques to engage viewers in a seamless narrative.
THE WORK
The hero film is a 30-second one-shot, following a couple from young love to parenthood in a purpose-built studio resembling a minimalist house. The set featured dynamic, movable walls operated live by actors to transition between life stages. Motion Control technology enabled consistent, fluid tracking shots, while Flame editing helped stitch transitions flawlessly. The evolving environment and continuous movement evoke the highs and lows of life and investing, delivering a rich, immersive story that balances technical excellence with human emotion.
The TALENT
With three weeks of pre production, we brought this vision to life using carefully planned production techniques, cutting-edge Motion Control (MoCo) technology, and a meticulously crafted movable interior house set. Combined with our director Jacob Hopewell's vision, these elements seamlessly captured a couple’s journey through marriage, parenthood, and retirement, all in 30 seconds.
