Redbreast Whiskey
“Quite The Find”
Celebrating Creativity With BAFTA-Winning Actor Andrew Scott
BACKGROUND + STRATEGY
Whiskey brand Redbreast partnered with Untold Fable to create a global video campaign promoting its new digital platform, Redbreast Hidden – a space dedicated to discovering and celebrating undiscovered creative gems. Developed with Pernod Ricard’s in-house agency, The Mix Dublin, the campaign spotlights the brand’s passion for craftsmanship, authenticity and storytelling. To bring Redbreast Hidden to life, the team tapped BAFTA-winning actor Andrew Scott to curate and review his top five short film picks from a competition showcased at SXSW. The concept connects Redbreast’s dedication to craft with the artistry of filmmaking, positioning the brand as a patron of creativity and discovery.
THE WORK
Shot in a New York studio over one day, the cinematic film shows Scott seated in a theatre with shortlisted films projected behind him. The stripped-back setup used dual projectors for a refined yet immersive look. The campaign highlights shared values of authenticity and craftsmanship between fine whiskey and filmmaking. Social media content includes rapid-fire Q&As with Scott on cinema, acting and his appreciation for Redbreast. These clips were shot separately against a colourama backdrop for a social-first aesthetic.
THE TALENT
It was a pleasure to have our talent network member, Matthew McKenzie, join us on set for the Redbreast Unhidden x Andrew Scott project! Born and raised in NYC with strong Caribbean roots, Matt is a passionate filmmaker making waves in the industry.
